Pros
You gain a lot of experience ASAP, and the days go by quickly. For the most part, coworkers are pleasant.
Cons
Understaffed, extremely high turnover. No training and a lot of pressure and stress. A lot of overtime is expected of you as well to make up for the lack of staffing and structure. You spend a lot of time fixing other people's mistakes which is time consuming and frustrating. Every month there is a new huge project that requires a lot of energy, and things never seem to settle into a productive routine. We're always playing catch up and every day is a new emergency. It is rare that I get to focus on my actual job requirements, and of course I get reprimanded for this.
