Pros
People are so nice, and they really are like a family. Great benefits like PTO, Health, and occasional company get-togethers on site. Overall, wonderful company. I think my situation is just unique because of my "department" or lack there of.
Cons
Because the commercial aspect is a "start-up", there isn't a whole lot of organization. I applied for one position and ended up being split between two departments, one of which didn't really exist yet. After over a year, I still have yet to really do what I applied to do and am currently taking on too many stressful projects that are of no interest to me or my field of work. Also, you can only get a review/potential raise once a year, and it is an across the board 3%, which isn't great if you ever want to move up to the next dollar amount in the next few years. Some management continually sends you emails, even past working hours. I get the workload of a salary position, but I am only hourly.
