Poor leadership and plenty of office politics - Software Engineer BitGo Employee Review

Management was a mess. The PMs were constantly arguing in office politics and negatively affected engineering. They raised 50 million in funding after doing one round of layoffs, and said there'd be no more layoffs, only to lay off dozens more two weeks later. They claim transparency is a core value of the company, when there is none. Claim to be remote-friendly, only to demand people to come in if you are within 1.5 hours of driving distance of the office. CEO is an egotistical maniac who preaches empathy but has no problem cutting employees and disregarding the input of the management team.
