Pros
The only positive thing about working at BitOasis was the exposure to 'crypto,' which will serve as a great launchpad for much better opportunities.
Cons
I worked at BitOasis for a while, and I can honestly say that it was one of the worst experiences of my career. The senior leadership team is made up of people who were hired through references and alumni networks, leading to a gross incompetence in the company's management. The young female co-founder is particularly delusional and stubborn, making it almost impossible to get anything done in a reasonable timeframe. Projects are executed in a haphazard manner with poor planning, sabotaged by the leaders' egos, incompetence, and "scrappy approach" to things. The management consistently failed to deliver on promises, which created a toxic work environment, leading to burnout and frustration. The company recently went through a round of lay-offs and downsizing and this has happened a few times in the past, based on what I've heard from colleagues who have been with the company since the early days. On one of the previous rounds of downsizing, the management threw all employees under the bus by giving a "wake up" call to employees in one of the townhall meetings and asking everybody to pull their socks up and to "work harder" instead of taking ownership of the pathetic strategic and financial decisions made by them which led the company into the situation it is in today. Overall, I cannot recommend BitOasis as an employer. The company is a total circus, and I wouldn't wish this kind of working environment on anyone. If you're looking for a place to grow your career and develop your skills, I suggest you look elsewhere.
