Pros

- Cool coworkers - Hybrid policy: 3 days in office (MWF), 2 days wfh (TuThu) - Fully paid medical and dental

Cons

Oh, where do I even start? The divide between upper management and employees is unreal. Upper management here will throw their own employees under every chance they get. During my time here, I've never heard anyone say that they enjoyed working at Bitus Labs. It was always a constant war between upper management and employees. Here are some fun facts that occurred during my time there: - Lunches are not supposed to be taken in large groups. We must space out our lunch in case investors come into the office. (We got yelled at by HR for having the office take lunch together) - Disposable coffee cups were taken away because HR said "it was too expensive. Everyone must bring their own cup now." The sad part is that HR took the remaining stack of cups and locked it away in her drawer. - Employees have to be in the office for a minimum of 9 hours. 8 hours of work and a mandatory 1-hour lunch. They also have to clock in and out. THIS DOESN'T APPLY TO UPPER MANAGEMENT. THEY ARE EXEMPT FROM THIS RULE AND DO NOT NEED TO CLOCK IN OR OUT/BE IN THE OFFICE FOR 9 HOURS. - Paychecks have been delayed twice so far because investors threaten to pull their funding. - They want to promote full-stack engineers to Tech Leads but will not offer salary raises. So more work for the same compensation. - They installed a tracking software on all our computers to monitor you. They said "Don't think of this as Big Brother. Think of this as accountability." Are you serious?? - They will not sponsor visas here. If you're on OPT, don't bother asking for one. They promised to sponsor visas for everyone on OPT here but once you join, they say that they cannot do it anymore. They had no intentions to sponsor to begin with. Overall, I would recommend just staying away from this company. Without a doubt, it'll be a waste of time. There's no room for real career growth here. Upper management will never listen or support you. It's a damn circus here with clowns running the show. If you do end up joining the company, just be wary. Don't trust any upper management including HR, CTO, and Project Manager. They'll throw you under to save themselves.

Pros

I’ve seen some older negative reviews here, mainly reflecting the company’s early exploration stage. During the initial years, Bitus Labs was defining its business direction and product strategy, which led to a few project restructurings and policy adjustments that hadn’t yet aligned with local practices. However, things have improved dramatically since the full company reorganization in 2023–2024. The structure is clear, leadership is stable, and benefits and work flexibility have been upgraded. Today, Bitus Labs offers a supportive and innovative environment with great teamwork between the US and Taiwan offices. Employees are trusted with ownership, and there’s strong encouragement for personal growth and creative ideas.

Cons

As the company continues to grow fast, priorities can still shift quickly. Adaptability and proactive communication are key to thriving here.
