Tip share, compensation is not what I expected for an upscale restaurant. For a highly motivated individual with a passion for top notch service, proper compensation is just not there long term
Not a lot of org structure, chat w/ CEO often, can be open and honest
Engineering focused, most customer teams had freedom to build things right
Created an environment with lot of psychological safety and genuinely cared about people bringing themselves to work
Cons
Pandemic was badly timed as the company was diversifying it's customer base -- sad to see it go
