Pros

-remote work is a pro

Cons

-i don't recommend -the executive leadership team lacks a clear strategic vision and sees you as a number -work environment often felt discouraging from executive team -employee growth isn't a priority here -frequent account changes disrupted the relationship-building process between the team and partners -roles aren't clearly defined and comp plans are always changing/never given on time -the team was once told to "embrace the suck" because of the account changes and the lack of defined roles supporting accounts -overall, there's other companies out there that will treat you better

Pros

The product itself (especially the folks in the SOC) are clearly best in class. Until recently, the leadership team struggled with consistency and attitude. With the new CEO's arrival, though, things have been improving in that area. There's still work to be done getting the ELT out of silos, but things are getting better.

Cons

It's a growing tech company, which means things move fast.

The people doing the work every day are what make Blackpoint special, and that recognition matters. I also appreciate the honesty about leadership. The last year has been a meaningful reset for us, and the arrival of our new CEO has helped bring more consistency, clarity, and focus, but we know that progress doesn’t stop there. You’re right that breaking down silos at the ELT level is still a work in progress but it's improving fast! We’re actively working on better alignment and shared accountability. And yes, growth comes with speed and change. That can be energizing and challenging at the same time. Our goal is to keep improving how we communicate and support teams as we scale. Pros

Best MDR/SOC on the market bar none. People on all fronts truly love the work they are doing and it shows with the candid interactions you have with them. Excited to be apart of such a moving mission, LFG!

Cons

Excellence comes at a cost and this is a high producer role/company with challenging(but attainable) goals . If this is a role you're looking to coast and do the bare minimum then its not for you. But if you're trying to advance your career in sales, this is the industry to be in and this company is a pioneer and trendsetting in the Cyber Security world.
