Pros

1)floating holiday is friendly, but only if ur manager allow you to take days off 2) hybrid or remote for senior

Cons

1) They hired me as a new graduate, forced me to cancel my approved PTO and air ticket, forced me to work overtime, then laid me off even I was on the project 2) I met two terrible project leaders within 1 yr, they aren’t patient with new graduates at all, always ask me to do dirty work and exclude me from important tasks, and DS leaders decide ur project, not according to ur experience, so the project doesn’t match my background very well 3) Very toxic leadership in DS team, which leads to low retention rate in this company. They never show respect to you, I heard one project leader said ‘if you don’t create value for our team, I’ll remove you any time” in a standup 4) Thank you for laying me off and give me chance to know how bad this company is compared to my new company. Currently I worry a lot about canceling PTO, getting laid off, insulated by rude leaders, they bring me lots of trauma, I cannot forgive this company forever!

Pros

Honestly, the thing I didn't expect was how much people here actually want to help you succeed. I've reached out to colleagues across teams and time zones since starting and everyone has been warm, generous with their time, and genuinely invested in making sure I'm set up well. That's not nothing. The work is interesting and the timing feels right. Being in the AI and data space right now means there's real energy behind what the company is doing, and you feel that in the day-to-day. Leadership communicates in a way that actually feels personal, which I appreciate more than I expected to. The team I'm on is collaborative and thoughtful, and there's an obvious effort to build culture on purpose rather than just hope it happens. Company events and internal programming feel considered, not like checkbox exercises.

Cons

Being globally distributed is genuinely great in a lot of ways, but coordinating across time zones takes real effort and you have to be intentional about building relationships remotely. Not a dealbreaker, just something to go in with eyes open about. Some processes are still developing, which makes sense for a growing company. If you like building and figuring things out, you'll be fine. If you need a lot of structure from day one, expect a bit of a ramp.

It’s wonderful to hear that the intentional culture we’re building at Blend360 has made such a positive impact during your first year. We truly believe our people are our greatest strength, and I’m glad you’ve felt that support across teams and time zones. We appreciate your perspective on the 'intentionality' required for a global, remote-first team. We are committed to continuing to make space for those genuine connections as we grow.
