Pros
Let me first begin by saying I'm not a disgruntled or angry former employee. Bling jewelry was a good stepping stone, and I really enjoyed my coworkers there for the most part, including my superiors. Depending on your job and department there, working at bling could potentially give someone a lot of important skills and experience. All of that gets the one star.
Cons
Now, that being said, let's get into the gritty. The founder and CEO. This by no means a rant. These are the FACTS: she is a terrible manager, controlling, unprofessional, disrespectful, and outwardly belittling to her employees. As the founder, obviously bling is her baby, so expect a micro manager who is terrible at communication and giving direction. She also doesn't value all the employees that have helped her build her business, but mind you, she clearly does have her favorite employees. Though I honestly don't think you would find a single former or current employee that has actually enjoyed working with her. All the positive reviews on for bling on Glassdoor are dishonest ones that she either wrote herself, or made others write. I could go on and on, but I think I've already summed up what you really need to know. Beware of what you will be getting when working with the owner, working with her is not a positive experience. If the you don't notice the qualities above when you first meet her, believe me, you will surely see it when you work with her. And P.S. be eeeextra careful of the bookkeeper/hr girl. That one is a whole other monster in and of itself.
