Outside of sales and some upper management, you won't be paid well within the industry. They have a habit of under-titling employees for their actual responsibilities and as a result they pay poorly. The fact that employees know how profitable the company is makes the poor pay hard to swallow. When I left, I was surprised at how many job offers I received - when I took my new job, I asked why they had offered me the position even though my highest title was **********, and was told nobody else had my level of experience with the "surprisingly" low pay I had been receiving - I was cheap compared to others.
This sentiment is echoed on here, and it was also echoed throughout the low levels of the company while I was there.
