Given the “supposed” freedom to work on cool and fun stuff but everything get shut down anyways. Middle management created and people get competitive and protective over their own credit. People fly overseas to their satellite for work only to get let go after a 30h journey. Poor severance packages (if any) and an increasingly cut throat environment where people get let go when profits are not good. You can almost never promote unless someone leaves or get fired
