Pros

A introductory course into the world of PR

Cons

Before accepting my position, I read the other negative reviews about Blonde but decided to turn a blind eye, as this seemed like a good opportunity. Unfortunately, all the reviews are true, and I wish I had heeded other people's warnings. Early on, it was clear the Blonde motto wasn't, "How can we all work together as a team to fix something", but rather "Who screwed up, and who is to blame?". Daily, the company's slack channel was used to call people out and publicly repremand, something any HR department would do away with, but they don't have an HR! Rather than a safe and friendly work environment, it very quickly began to feel negative and toxic. I wasn't alone in my feelings, my coworkers felt the same way. We were all stressed, we knew the treatment of our manager and the upper management was not right, and we worked far too many hours for very low pay. It was a blessing to finally leave Blonde, and join a company who treats me with the respect I deserve.

Pros

I've been working for Blonde 2.0 for over six years now, and my experience has been nothing but wonderful (otherwise I wouldn't spend this long there). The company is based on really professional principles, but is really flexible when need be creating a dynamic work environment that's optimal for someone like me, who's always looking for new challenges. I myself started as a part time account manager and "creative guy" but as so many others at Blonde, I carved my own way to the top- doing various services within the company and getting both pay raises and title bumps to match. The company is also flexible with it's employees. When I wanted a change of scenery and to be with my now wife, the CEO agreed for me to transfer to Boston, even though there was no business reason to do so, and it actually made his life more difficult. I see Blonde as my family, not just a company, and the team there as professional, warm, and most of all, funny :)

Cons

Things can get really stressed, as with any PR company. If you can't handle stress don't come working here. I personally have anxiety but I found a way to deal.

Pros

Absolutely no pros to work here.

Cons

The company's turnover speaks for itself. Take a look at their website "team" page from one month to the next to see that people are constantly leaving and replaced with more entry level people. Management doesn't care about the high turnover, they know and will even admit they push all employees to burn out (they prefer high turnover so that they can continue to pay lower wages to jr level staff.) Dont take a job here under any circumstance -unless of course you enjoy working all hours of the day, being treated like a machine and not a person, living on a wage that barely (if it even does) cover basic living expenses, and being disposable to an organization in which you give you so much of your life on a daily basis. Do yourself the biggest favor of your life and don't work here.
