Incredibly toxic work culture with questionable managers in place. This isn't the place for creatives and free-thinkers to flourish, you are heavily judged on your love for the company above all else. Employees have been criticized for NOT working past COB, and some managers have unfortunately pressured employees to sacrifice much of their personal lives for the sake of their job (which pays far below industry average). Some managers are inconsistent in the benchmarks they set for employees as well as compensation agreements. Be prepared to record each and every conversation you have with ANYONE in management at this company. Not doing so puts you at risk of managers successfully gaslighting you. Some managers will also ignore you if it's more convenient for them to do so, entirely contradicting the "family" culture they try to instill of the minds of employees. Interviewing? Ask why the turnover rate has been exceedingly higher than industry average for the last 4 years. Sadly, I could say so much more, but I won't. Instead, I will leave you with this: the amazing thing about the DC area is that there are ENDLESS opportunities for Digital Marketing, Content Writing, and Analytics. Please do yourself a favor and look some place else.
