Many people are well trained in their field and have their intentions in the right place. It is strangely a community, but it is strange because it is a kind of misery loves to have company rather than a really good working conditions family.
Cons
The management, managers, and delivery processes are equally disjointed and without any oversight. It is a chaos with many "leaders" that don't seem to know how to deliver to customer engagements. They all act as if the BP Suite is just software packages and feature packs that some Systems Integrator will make work and integrated to the Customer environments. When this does not happen, then they whip up the engineers for overtime to make it work somehow without any structure to support them.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! Like all technology companies, Blue Planet's success is built on maintaining a competitive edge and driving the innovation curve. This means pivoting our investment areas from time to time into high-growth and next-generation technology areas such as AI and multi-cloud.
From time to time, we will divert investment from older technology areas to new technology areas. When this happens, we endeavor to retrain employees in these new technology areas—where we can—so they can reskill in these new areas.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss and understand the specifics of your comment. Please email us at cienafeedback@ciena.com.
