Pros
They LISTEN to the residents and address their concerns as quickly as possible. Fair pricing to prospects. They have REALLY good benefits. The Regional managers try to help the management with their side of things as much as they can & the regional manager also CARES about the property managers and staff that work for them & realize that they sacrifice a lot, at times, to give 100% to the company. The regional manager tries to help (as much as possible, without breaking the rules about getting too emotionally involved with an employee) when the employees are displaced from a fire, or when a spouse gets cancer or something like that & will reach out to others for donations or what ever is needed for that employee & their situation.
Cons
When they listen to the residents, they do not care about the property's side of the story. The UPPER MANAGEMENT (meaning the VP, Pres., CEO, C.O.O, etc.) could truly care less about the employees that work for them. They pretend to, but when it all comes down to it... You are just a pawn in their game of chess - no matter what you sacrifice - how many hours per day that you put in. When given the opportunity to sell, and make a profit - they SELL and don't care where the employees go, or what happens to them. The company Motto is "Always Striving to do the Right Thing" - but that should simply say "We cater to the residents complaints until we can sell the property and get out of dodge". IF you work for this company (or decide to) and your property goes up for sale.... Look out for YOURSELF, and try to find another job as soon as you can (IF you can stay in the company, that's GREAT - but if there are no open positions for you.... RANDY just doesn't care..... This is the ONLY company that I have EVER worked for (and I have worked for some bad ones) that WILL NOT PAY A STAY BONUS to the staff that stays to make sure the sale goes through. The stress of the property sale is bad enough, but to get kicked when you are down and find out that the property PROBABLY would NOT have sold IF you hadn't done EVERYTHING you and the staff could do, to make the property look it's very best --- EVERY DAY. I used my great connection that I have with the residents to show all of the floor plans to every potential buyer (and there were a LOT). I am writing this with a cool head, and I am NOT upset, or recently let go (like a lot of people that write a review just when they are upset about something) - so this is an honest review. I will continue to work for the company, for as long as they will have me and they have an open position available - So that should tell you something.... but my eyes are WIDE OPEN now, and I will be always on my toes from here on out. So just keep that in mind. Nice Christmas parties (before Covid), LOW bonuses.
