- Work-life balance blatantly discouraged by many higher ups - "Do more with less" is the motto which is unrealistic - Ridiculous expectations and goals, junior employees often take the blame for things out of their control - Constant changing of expectations, lack of direction from C-suite - High rate of turnover, sometimes getting rid of good people with no warning or explicit cause and just glossing it over with a generic email - All talk and no action/resources for DEI; if anything, Bluewave has gone backwards in terms of DEI (especially when it comes to employee diversity), yet is somehow still a B-corp - Siloed departments; unaligned goals cause friction - Some managers just don't know how to manage; never got formal training and it shows - Lack of transparency and consistency with promotions
