Pros

Sometimes co-workers (rarely management) would bring in bagels.

Cons

My job title started out as an Account Manager with heavy workloads. I had a really hard time getting any of the designers to complete tasks on time so I ended up doing all of my own code work. I also became the only salesperson for the company after a year of working there. I thought that would mean I wouldn't have to continue managing account but I was wrong. I just had more duties added without any additional pay. After months of asking for a raise I finally received a small one. As time went on my list of responsibilities continued to grow including things like building apps and managing accounting in our POS system, while doing sales, training new reps, and account management. This was an overwhelming workload. It had been over a year since my last raise and Jarad (CEO) never does any individual performance reviews. Eventually after Jarad had promised me a raise and approved one, he fired me instead. I wasted valuable years being strung along by the leadership team here. They are liars and will take advantage of hard workers. Steer clear of this sinking ship.

Pros

it's a small unique office with a relaxing atmosphere. Easy, not stressful work and you'll get home on time.

Cons

If you’re not one of the guys and don't get invited to lunch, you’re left out. Same repetitive real estate design work and is definitely mundane after a while. The wysiwyg editor used to design the websites is terrible, so many little glitches and is a pain to use. Sales team over promises on what the product can deliver. There are no insurance benefits, 401k, bonuses ... they only had Aflac supplementary insurance. Way under paid, can definitely get paid a lot more at other places as a designer. Almost double. If you’re an entry level designer, looking for experience, this might be a good place to start. They are not looking for great designs, they just want the job done. It’s not creatively fulfilling work, but it could be a good stepping stone.
