Not very competitive benefits-wise compared to the rest of the startup world, although the health insurance is relatively decent.
Vacation policy is by way of your old school company (aka it SUCKS/it's standard) other companies have Unlimited PTO or discretionary time off, we get, well a rock. 10 days out of the year to keep your sanity together isn't going to cut it BlueVine.
The same snacks get old. We did get pickles recently though; that was a nice change up.
It's a startup so there are always challenges, problems needing to be solved, lessons to be learned - it's not really a con but it's something that you need to take into consideration. Are you ready for that kind of "stress"? Are problems something you want to solve or are you just a worker bee? BlueVine is not for someone just looking for a job or worker bees. It's a place for people who want to bring something to the table, offer up ideas, and be a part of something with very big potential. It's not for the weak. You'll need to not just be a hard worker, but also smart.
Sometimes more than you can handle can be asked of you. But it gets realized and readjusted.
The company's culture and values are not spoken about frequently enough. I can't even remember what they are when the question comes up. I know we strive to stick to them but they need to be more in your face - it'll help with understanding of why things are done the way they are and why a certain decision is made.
