Pros

There honestly are not any pros that I can think of.

Cons

Be ready for at least 6-8 rounds of layoffs, 5-8 acquisitions in a year and changes made by leadership without any knowledge of the job that is at play. The Director of Operations is so young and inexperienced and makes decisions that are incredibly unfortunate in the industry. The VP of Sales has no experience in managing a team with no true leadership. The rest of the ELT are great at giving the talk but never follow through and your voice does not matter, in fact, you may get punished for speaking an opinion. No advice for management as they will not listen to advice as it pertains to themselves. It's a legacy team that bands together and they do not like new outsiders.

Pros

I love the direction the company is headed; acquiring more and more agencies to add expertise and value to our clients! They have a client-first mentality and genuine passion for everyone to succeed!

Cons

natural growing pains and accountability to a PE firm.

Pros

work from home plenty of work to do without the support or operational efficiencies that were previously in place prior to migrating customers to 3rd party vendor management. The lack in unorganization, planning and support helped me create a really desirable resume :) Experience left me with determination to create passive incomes, not leaving all of my eggs in one basket, so to speak.

Cons

Company has a spending problem, which ultimately Dominos its way down to the department level. Upper Management lacks experience and understanding of customer retention; often leaning on senior or tenured employees for support. Compensation is below market level. Unlimited paid time off = you're not getting reimbursed for your efforts throughout the year. Offboarding was ridiculous and demoralizing. I was never informed of reason for termination. Pulling back a severance to recover company owned equipment outside of the return process. Delaying final check by 30 days as means to prevent receiving unemployment benefits until after 3rd quarter earnings filed. The Cook's in the kitchen when Bluewave is on a mission.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback here. I'm Bluewave's newly hired VP of People Ops. Being new to Bluewave, I don't have the entire context behind your review. However, I'd add that our company is evolving positively. As with any growing organization, Bluewave has undoubtedly experienced and will continue to experience growing pains. A key positive differentiator: We are committed to embracing each opportunity to learn and aim to create exceptional customer and employee experiences.
