Pros
So I wanted to write a short blog post on how my two years at Bluprint have been… and let me tell you something, it will not be easy to put into words. If I had to define the experience in one word, that word would probably be ROLLER COASTER (well, technically that’s two words). I am not talking about tiny roller coasters either, I’m talking about the gigantic, adrenaline inducing Kingda Ka or Superman types of roller coasters. What I’ve found is that in order to succeed within this business, you have to be ready to embrace a challenge and the opportunity to not only establish yourself but to be able to deal with well-established clients. It’s certainly a steep learning curve, unorthodox and just a little crazy sometimes! At Bluprint, there’s no such a thing as a status quo because everything changes all the time. If I could give my past self any advice, it would be; prepare to put in the hours, take a step out of your comfort zone and just enjoy the ride. Ultimately, working for Bluprint has been one of the greatest experiences ever. I have grown a lot as a person (not so much physically, thanks to our sometimes slightly annoying healthy eating policy!) and I have gained key qualities and skills that I wouldn’t have otherwise been able to get. I have travelled to many new and exciting places, meeting wonderful people and clients along the way - even forming long lasting friendships outside of work. Last but certainly not least, the Bluprint family...what can I say. None of my work colleagues have just been my work colleagues. They are all friends, and even more than that, they are family.
Cons
If you are not ready for a non-traditional fast-pace company this is not your place.
