I am a dryer grader and feeder. It's a VERY manual labor-based job. Very manual-labor based work. The pay makes it worth - Production Worker Boise Cascade Employee Review
Very good pay and benefits. Starting out is a little above $20 in Oregon, depending on shift, and a very good medical/dental coverage and 401k. 40hr guaranteed at my facility. Unionized. Overtime is easily accessible.
Cons
You have to constantly remind/pressure supervisors to give you correct training, or protective equipment. Most trainees are assigned graveyard (10:30pm-6:30am) or rotate which is filler between the other shifts.
