Pros
Many of the people are amicable. Some of the benefits are nice.
Cons
Unprofessional upper management that is incredibly corrupt. They lie to you, they manipulate you, and when you address the lies and manipulation they target you and try their hardest to push you around and overwork you until you can't take it anymore. They use personal vendettas to try and keep you in a position instead of allowing you to grow within the company regardless of your work ethic, attendance, and high quality performance. There are supervisors telling employees they are not to speak Spanish unless they are speaking with a patient. They falsely accuse employees of not doing their work appropriately. Above all, when you take the proper steps to report any of these issues, you are ignored and disregarded. This is one of the most toxic work environments I have ever worked in. Blatant and public favoritism and bending of the rules for certain brown-nosing employees and strict rule enforcement for others. If you do not bend at every whim, you mean nothing to these people. I thought VCU would be the company I retire from, but I will never trust another VCU facility to gainfully employ me ever again.
