Pros

Great colleagues - most people are friendly and supportive.

Cons

Horrible communications and no transparency or honesty from the top. It’s obvious that many people are burned out and under great pressure, even being gaslit and start questioning their own expertise. But management is taking advantage of these young ambitious talents. I’ve never seen a higher churn rate anywhere else. Outrageous rumors and just flat out lies are spread about colleagues who left the company. HR would flip their words and documents and turn against employees. In short, the company will do everything to screw you over the second you stop devoting your life to them. Glad to be out.

Pros

The operational part is the main strength of the company. It's not a startup anymore, where you need to work 24/7 for someone to forget to pay you in time or demand your attention on vacation. The operational processes are well established and, in the majority of cases, automated. But at the same time, it isn't a corporation where any deviation from the norm is not allowed. The operation and HR teams are always happy to listen and will try to accommodate your request. As a result, you get: * Great benefits (vacation days, flexibility, company events, etc.) * Remote work * Visa help * Good hardware * Solid software, with heavy AI integration * etc.

Cons

The main issue is the development process. The product is uniquely positioned to utilize SCHUFA data. This gives the company a great user source, but it leads to the rest of the offering being quite bland. The product doesn't need anything interesting; they just need to match the competition. This means there are no discussions about new features, no creative spark. As a developer, you are just given tickets and asked to put in long hours to deliver as much as possible. While the improvements to the delivery process are not forbidden, you find little support and a lot of pressure to stay within the unrealistic delivery time estimation.
