Great staff, vibe and culture. Occasional free drink. Atmosphere is great if you love engaging with people. Shifts go fast as it is a very fast paced environment.
Cons
Hours all over the place for most employees, rosters not done in advance making work life balance hard. Expect 6 to 7 day work weeks for management roles and very few hours for other roles. Poor wage, use of younger staff to cut cost continuously, also cuts efficiency considerably. Large amount of outside work/training for all staff, often delivered well before a promotional campaign and doesn't properly prepare staff with consistent material. Large volume of promotional campaigns that customers and some staff have trouble keeping up. Over process everything, customers get irritated with service because of the amount of steps involved just to order a drink. Some very unrealistic expectations. Overall, not worth the workload for small pay. More suited to someone seeking a casual job to bridge employment. Don't waste your time and sacrifice a life to work here, you'll get more out of the business as a customer than you will as an employee.
