money really depends on what your position is -- servers do alright, all other FOH positions struggle/ don't make very much at all and management is pretty stingy/unfair with shifts. Definitely major favoritism happening w/ shifts, time off, etc. If you're looking for supplemental work, which is what I think they'd prefer to be for everyone so they can continue not have anyone to qualify for health-care, it is okay. not crazy busy. Very much feels like high school -- staff are treated like children that must constantly be reprimanded. We'd say all the time that it was rly sad that management was so rigid/hostile because we love each other so much, and it'd be wonderful if we were allowed to enjoy each others company without feeling like we were under the microscope all the time. managers seem power hungry and like their priority is business, and not the humanity in people they are supposed to advocate for (i.e staff). lots of weird passive aggressive punishment tactics. very very frustrating and disappointing to work for people, owners especially, who claim to prioritize morality and equitability in the workplace, but seem to actually not care at all about how people are treated, and whether or not they are upholding these standards w dignity.
