Pros
Great teams of wonderful people and knowledgeable people trying their best in a messy system.
Cons
Over the last 5 years, they have conducted mass layoffs once a year, leaving the remaining staff to manage the workload. Leadership is non-existent; they claim there is a company culture, but it is long dead, and all that is left is managers talking in circles and a staff that is totally burned out with no support. Managers have no teeth and do not advocate for their staff; all roads lead to a dead end. Very few, if any, promotions; every year, leadership just moves the promotion/raise goal post, and it's just one endless loop of "you're doing so great, just keep it up" They claim to be remote first, and you won't have to work outside your time zome, but thats a lie, you will get staffed on anything and everything and with the expantion into India that means you are expected to work overlapping hours, which is crazy when you consider the masive difference in timezones across North America and how they (don't) pair well with the Indian timezone. My list goes on and on about poor pay structure and a reduction in benefits that are now not only crap but also difficult to actually use/access. An HR department that tries to gaslight you when you have an actual concern or complaint that should be dealt with (or just actually lies to you). And clients leaving/pulling contracts left, right, and centre.
