Pros
I met some great people while working here. It was the main reason I stayed.
Cons
- No diversity. There is 0 diversity in the leadership team. They attempt to fix this with their intern/coordinator hiring but those folks never stay long. Their team is not an accurate representation of the diverse communities they claim to be a part of. - Perks/benefits are decreasing steadily. There is no more food/snacks in the office and in office days are not consistent across teams. Money is instead spent on retreats where drinking is the norm. - Large changes to business model/education offerings/daily operations are not communicated effectively. Changes are communicated by local leaders as opposed to communicated to the company by the CEO. These changes affect the work that everyone does. - The staff has lost all trust in leadership. Fridays are spent anticipating an email notifying the team that someone was let go. Concerns are not taken seriously. Strong employees are let go and favoritism plays a huge role in your success here. - Team structure is flawed. There is no real chain of command or growth within your role. Promotions/titles don't always mean anything. Your role will change based on who has recently gotten fired or what new initiative is happening that quarter.
