Bravissimo is not the same as it was almost 7 years ago, they do not have respect for their staff, as well as make key holders/management work full days without their consent. If you’re stuck on having 3 staff members in the day the higher ups will force you to keep the shop open, yet have the audacity to say is there anything we can do to support you? However anything you recommend they turn a blind eye and say it will affect customer experience. Newer managers are very toxic, they go all out for themselves and will happily throw other management that they don’t particularly like under the bus. There is no respect for employees mental and physical health. If you send in grievance/internal complaints the people and culture team are far from supportive. - if you mention a situation that has severely affected your mental capability to work they do not do anything to help this at all but refer you to retail trust. Myself and another supervisor were forced to run the shop for 4 months without any management team due to their poor choice of not appreciating a previous asm that had left due to lack of respect from the higher up employees. This was only taken into consideration for us due to a complaint from a customer mentioning the abuse from customers. In general you’re supposed to act like a personal shopper for women too. If a rude customer wants to take up 2 hours of your time during a fitting you have to deal with it even though fittings on average should be about 20/30 minutes Higher ups will also often take advantage of your knowledge by setting up meetings with certain departments with no benefit for yourself.
