Pros

The salary and benefits are extremely generous.

Cons

Leadership and Governance - The current CEO, appointed in 2022 following the departure of the previous managing director, has a background leading Bill Gates's investment organization. Their management history includes documented concerns about workplace culture from former team members. - The leadership transition raises questions about organizational values and management selection criteria. Structural and Cultural Issues - Departmental silos have created significant operational inefficiencies. -Frequent process changes without clear communication or rationale. -Inconsistent accountability standards across leadership levels Concerning patterns in workforce management, including seemingly arbitrary personnel decisions. For example, the Senior Director of HR is never in the office, but there is an expectation for in-office work by everyone else. -Notable disparity in professional conduct expectations between leadership and staff, including excessive drinking. Remote work policies appear to be inconsistently enforced, particularly among senior leadership. Employee Impact - High potential for decreased morale and increased turnover Mission-driven professionals express disillusionment with organizational direction. - Workplace culture appears to have diverged significantly from the organization's stated values and objectives.

Salary is high and benefits are impressive. And almost everyone is so passionate about the work.

Cons

None, if you are genuine about the mission.

Pros

The benefits and salaries are incredible. Rated two stars

Cons

This is the most toxic working environment I've ever been a part of. Competition for notoriety is fierce and it's an "every man for himself" culture. Management makes decisions with no transparency and seemingly arbitrarily. Suggestions to improve are more likely to get you into hot water than be appreciated. They may look slick to an outsider, but we warned about the trouble under the surface.
