Heavy micromanagement and a lack of trust in experienced staff created unnecessary pressure on morale and store culture, contributing to high staff turnover. Work-life balance, recognition for performance, and career development opportunities could be improved. Management since 2025 has appeared to lack a clear long-term vision, trust in frontline teams, and accountability for key decisions. This has left many employees feeling disengaged and undervalued. A culture of excessive oversight and limited autonomy has often undermined productivity, collaboration, and ultimately the business’s revenue potential.
