Pros
Interesting Technology, in the Bay Area it's rare to work in such an industry that isn't ads or pure B2B. Unique business opportunity overall. Great People, most enjoyable coworkers I have had in my career. Pups sometimes visit the office too. Great working space!
Cons
Poor communication. As an org it struggles with the ability to diffuse information among employees. Leads to a lot of frustration and extreme inefficiency. Weak technical leadership, which leads to a lot of tech debt which is not paid off Ineffective leadership, adds to the communication issues. Lots of thrashing. For example, verbal communications without written records leads to a lot of loose interpretation of goals and objectives among many employees even the leadership. It's a start up so it's still getting it together.
