Pros

Passionate people, decent holiday entitlement

Cons

Senior Management stuck in the dark ages. Very poor attitude with regards to Health and Safety. Senior managers purely production lead with safety second. Very bad 'boarding' process - there's your job get on with it. Employed for 10 months with appraisals and no real line management. Some areas have no risk assessments at all. Antiquated equipment with few risk controls. Resort to PPE straight away instead of fixing/installing adequate LEV. with this approach they are putting employees at risk as well as storing up future problems from litigation.

Pros

Friendly and professional colleagues, particularly within the engineering and operations teams. The role provided good exposure to large-scale industrial environments, safety-critical processes, and cross-functional collaboration. Working alongside both UK and international colleagues was a positive experience, and team members were generally supportive and willing to share knowledge.

Cons

Like many large industrial organisations, processes and decision-making can sometimes be complex and slower due to multiple stakeholders and compliance requirements. The environment can be demanding at times, particularly when balancing operational priorities and tight timelines.
