Pros
None that I can think of
Cons
Salaries are low Raises are low If I was paid what I am worth, the year-end bonus would be a true bonus Benefits are so-so, nothing to write home about PTO is what most other companies offer, which means not enough Brooks talks the talk, it ends there They talk endlessly about respect and fairness, yeah right HR is not interested in hearing what you have to say, they may politely listen to you but it ends there With unemployment the way it is now, Brooks and HR have the upper hand and can and will treat you in a rotten manner and there is nothing you can do about it “Our number one strength is our people”, again they talk the talk, it ends there “…achievement and merit are always recognized, both in team and individual”, I’ll say it again, they talk the talk, it ends there If you know you should be compensated for doing a great job, don’t take a job at Brooks, you will be more than disappointed Don’t ever attempt to demonstrate to Brooks that you are doing a great job ( oh nay nay ), Brooks will, in their own time, tell YOU if they think you are doing a great job. I only have a handful of years to go before I can retire I say to Brooks in all seriousness; you are truly making my last few years a miserable hell. Do you really want that on your conscience ? None of this is hearsay, I have experienced all of the above and I speak from that experience
