Pros
-good to expand your client base -good for entry level luxury experience -staff sales can be good - good events -brand training opportunities -great if you're Chinese and speak Mandarin, preferential treatment, better pay and sales opportunities.
Cons
-no structure, little support from higher management - blame culture, dog eat dog culture, sink or swim culture, - favouritism - no recognition, credit or appreciation - too many restrictions in selling, hands were tied, no fun in selling, micromanagement - toxic environment/ management styles, lack of social intelligence in management -fickle commission schemes - lack of luxury attitudes -super high staff turnover, poor staff retention -management lack people/interpersonal skills. -closed minded/ negative attitudes/mindsets - if you are a person of colour you probably won't progress far (unless your chinese) - unrealistic expectations in work load versus delivering excellent customer service, never enough staff to give consistent high level of service.
