      Pros

      Cool projects to work on, lots of independence, work remotely. Owners are easy to work with, trust you to complete your tasks, don’t micromanage - which makes for a great work/life balance.

      Cons

      Owners also code and can get lost in their own projects so sometimes you have to push for help, feedback or direction.

      Pros

      Flexibility in Work Hours, No "Office Politics", Wide range of products to work on. Autonomy

      Cons

      If you're not 100% independent be weary...You won't find anyone coddling/training you. You're expected to just jump in and be able to solve problems. Limited growth opportunities. Poor Documentation for Proprietary Work and no inclination to review/improve it.

      Pros

      The office is nice and we played Ping Pong with the former CTO and a couple of colleagues after work.

      Cons

      The CEO is very pretentious and not very knowledgeable when it comes to software engineering. He is also very impatient and very rude with his employee. There was no unit testing or end to end testing done on their software.
