Pros

I met some great people here.

Cons

First and foremost, the administration at this firm is absolutely terrible and is the main reason why the turnover rate is so high. Your hard work is never appreciated, nor is it ever acknowledged. This place has the Big Brother mentality - always watching and you will get in trouble for the smallest thing. You are treated like a child. God forbid you be 2 minutes late - you'll be questioned of why you were late, as if life doesn't happen. You have to cross two busy streets in order to get to the office, both where many accidents have occurred. You aren't allowed to eat at your desk or order coffee via UberEats, etc. because "the second you do, the entire staff will immediately think that it is okay to order steak dinners and eat them at their desk". (Direct quote) The HR department, if you can even call it that, needs to attend an actual HR class. This firm could have a lawsuit on its hands for its HR Dept. asking employees why they are taking PTO. There is extreme favoritism. If you are a chosen one, you can do no wrong. If you aren't, you'll get verbal warnings for everything. It is sad that when so many people leave for the same reason but yet nothing is ever done to correct it. It is difficult to describe just exactly how hostile of a work environment is it on here in words, but it is terrible. Those who have worked there and left understand.
