management is terrible. They use the PEAK performance reviews for employees, meaning only a certain percentage of people can be rated a 5 in their annual performance review. They play with these numbers to boost preferred employees bonuses and raises. Even when management sets clear conditions on performance and you exceed them you get marked low because you "could have been better" also this years annual metrics for some employees were not defined until the 6 month review was due, so some of us got judged based on metrics that didnt exist a couple of weeks before that. but hey "we're a family"
