Pros
A few good-intentioned, caring staff (sad for those that stay, most are leaving in droves). If you see a job opening here - run!
Cons
The unethical practices at work here should keep anyone who values their professional reputation (or donor funds) away. Programs are held up as functioning even when they are no longer in existence, ineffective friends are hired to do substandard work at a high pay rate, certain staff and volunteers are kept on due to the "management's" unwillingness to manage and their very real fear that the community will see Centerstone (CAMP) for what it is (and has been). A sham. This community needs an organization that will run the food bank, energy assistance, financial education, and other programs with the community's needs at the forefront, while holding up non-profit standards of ethics and fiscal responsibility.
