Pros

HR does an amazing job of hiring smart, hard working people. You'll get to work with big brands and have a lot of opportunities to learn a lot in the process. Overall a great learning experience. It's a great location to work in Boston .

Cons

I had high hopes for this company, and sadly it turned out to be the worst job I've ever had. The perk of working with great people isn't one that will last. In my time at the company, I didn't meet one person who genuinely enjoyed their job as a whole. Everyone I met was relatively unhappy. I left the organization in the last 6 months, and at least five employees that I worked with on a regular basis have since left, with many others looking at the door. Retention is a problem, and those that stay are only there for the stability. If you have children, you'll get a free pass to leave early and execute a bit less. If you don't have children, expect that you'll pick up the slack of the parents when they leave for the day. Teams are designed to fail. Everyone recognizes this, yet poor structure and bad leadership are topics no one wants to address. Too many employees leave the office at the end of the week feeling overworked and demoralized. If you think you can openly speak to your manager about any of those issues, think again. It only makes you a target if you're not willing to put a smile on your face and pretend issues don't exist. Management finds a way to justify bad behavior to no end. You can speak with HR but doing so only shines a light on you. Expect your complaints to be filed away, never to see the light of day.

C Space Response

I’m sorry to hear how frustrated and clearly unhappy you were at C Space. We’re very proud of the people we hire and appreciate that you recognize all the talent that’s here. Additionally, we try hard to provide work-life integration and balance for all of our people, not only our parents, so we’ll take a close look to make sure that’s right. In our weekly pulse surveys to employees we’ll be digging in to some of your points, namely the receptivity to feedback. Though a tough review to read, we need to hear it and appreciate how you feel. I also hope you shared this feedback during your exit interview. We treat that feedback as data and compile themes and actionable outcomes to be shared back with teams and leaders. Thank you for sharing your voice. We are optimistic and yet humble about the challenges that come with growth. We are whole-heartedly committed to making C Space a great place to work for all of our employees.

Pros

Was a good team, very dedicated to trying to meet the needs of the business and the customers.

Cons

Everything has been outsourced off-shore. Business started to undermine itself, then look for ways to replace core products with 3rd party services (they couldn't).
