Pros
The only good thing I can say about this job is that they do have job security… There’s always work to be done.
Cons
-Worst benefits with annual increases like a credit card. -The management is completely clueless -The warehouse is extremely filthy with black mold that latches onto your face as you work. -no a/c or heat so the warehouse will be a sweatbox during the summer and an igloo during winter. -The Equipment is complete trash, with not enough scanners or tuggers to go around. - every time I came in after the previous shift, none of the scanners or tuggers were charged so instead of being able to start on your picking route you spent the first hour of your shift charging your equipment hoping no one would steal it while it was charging, if you got behind on the order it would double,, so all in all you’re completely screwed working 16 hour shifts with absolutely not a care in the world from management who shrug it off like it’s not their problem. The dunnage at the end was completely unorganized as well. Had a pallet collapse on top of me due to a forklift driver knocking over a box at the very top. Was barely able to walk afterwards and thankfully only left with scratches and bruises. Was expected to finish my pick even after being injured. This place just doesn’t care.
