Pros
For the most part people are great. I'd say most of the managers know what they are doing, which is a miracle for a company these days.
They will allow you to flex time or let you work from home occasionally
Casual dress code
Cons
-No advancement for women.
-Technologically they are 20 years behind. The ERP system is terrible and you will have to do a lot of work manual. very little automation.
-Employees are very underutilized. They have smart people with advanced degrees doing clerical work that someone right out of college could do.
-Total lack of project management knowledge, very poor execution.
-Lack of communication, although that is getting slightly better
-They say they are Lean, but they do not know what Lean is.
-There are maybe two engineers in the whole company who know how to design, and will help you. The rest could care less.
-Lots and lots of fingerpointing and refusing to take responsibility
-People who should have been fired years ago are still there, while they laid off decent people.
-Lots of unpaid overtime.
