Pros
Many of my coworkers are incredibly bright, which means I'm intellectually challenged on every project and constantly learning new things about the industry. The projects themselves are with some of the top private equity funds or some of the top telecom/tech companies worldwide. The firm has an international focus, and we've done projects in Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Canada, China, the UK, Saudi Arabia, etc - but luckily we don't need to travel for very many projects - mostly just for management meetings or final readouts - so there's no Monday through Thursday nonsense. Projects are typical of pure strategy consulting (e.g. market sizing, new products, new markets, M&A, capital prioritization) and last 3-4 weeks, so lots of variety. The culture is great - very friendly people, happy hours every Friday and quarterly firm outings (winter skiing, summer clambakes, Oktoberfest, Winter Holiday party) as well as some impromptu wine/whiskey tastings.
Cons
Typical of consulting, hours can be long, but definitely far more reasonable than some larger TMT consulting firms in Boston. Because the firm is in such high demand and growing quickly, it can be a bit of trial by fire, but that growth and early assignment of responsibility is also what allows people to get promoted so quickly - so it's a mixed bag.
