Pros
The company is well known in Central Florida and most of the lower level staff are great people. The time off is great but you will be constantly harassed by your manager if you actually try to use vacation.
Cons
This company has a huge problem when you reach the management level. Asset management and accounting are notoriously toxic and this is due in large part to CNL not being able to hire appropriate leadership. The second biggest problem is that the firm does not have a healthy work/life balance. You will be worked to the bone and forget about being able to use vacation. It should also be noted that the pay is way below market level. I left for another job at a commercial development firm in Orlando and I am making almost double what I was in the same role at CNL. Lastly, another problem I would mention is that career progression here is extremely slow if even existent. Most will simple leave before they are promoted and if they are promoted it’s likely out of managements desperation to keep the office staffed.
