Cons
There are a handful of good sales managers in Illinois but most of them are a joke. Put it this way, the clown who was my "manager" was hired into the position and in his first two years he's gone through EIGHTEEN financial reps. And he still keeps his job. The nepotism at this company is astounding. They go through agents like water through a sieve and the managers bear little to no responsibility for this incredible failure. I was a financial rep for 10 years and the last 5 were unbearable. High priced products so it's impossible for the new agents to hit their goals and if you don't sell a ton of life insurance you're expendable. If you're lucky enough to make it into management you can do a mediocre to awful job (like the clown who was my manager) you'll still keep your job.
