Pros
This is an excellent place to stay and finish up your career. COUNTRY is one of the few places left to a pension benefit.
Cons
Oddly, COUNTRY is owned by the Illinois Farm Bureau and so those seated in the Board of Directors are farmers. Therefore, the board's knowledge of insurance is limited. IT has seen many changes and layoffs in the past several months. Things will probably be better once the dust settles.
