Pros
They provide a fairly accommodating route/process for earning your CDL, and getting trained in driving and working OTR. They will usually keep you busy with loads, if that is what you like. I have not had any serious issues with my Driver Managers and most other office personnel. They did well accommodating home time needs. Adding SmartPass helped the frustration dealing with certain traffic.
Cons
Pay was based on short-miles. Training/mentoring; they teach you less than bare minimum about real-world backing. Is this normal?? During my time (2021-2022) trucks had very little accommodations; no APU, no default inverter, no microwave, no fridge, no TV, Clean Idle. Often had to fight (phone calls, reminders) to get paid for ancillaries; detention time, break-down pay, etc.
