The culture of IT was toxic when I left. They have fired a few executives that will help improve, but really need to go through a few more. Some Executives belittle employees, as well as Managers. Large projects are mismanaged, and there are too many people right now for the amount of work that exists. It’s a small company that has a massive IT population. I’m hopeful that some of the changes taking place will correct the culture and improve engagement, as there are skilled people there, just misguided/misled. They may be able to reduce their management layer as well by a good 20-30%.
It isn’t the best place to work in the valley within IT. I think back in 2010 it may have been, but it certainly isn’t anymore.
