      CSX is an interesting company. The intricacies of the railroad industry are intriguing. You are constantly in learning mode. The people are the assets of this organization. CSX is a server of the community, and it is a great place to work

      The company is burden by its history and the culture is overwhelming saturated with budd-isms and cliques. It is challenging for a minority to break any ceiling.

      Fair minded and supportive management. Not directly involved in RR management, so did not have the same hours or demands as many do.

      Cons

      None really--large publicly held company. Working on a contract basis, so can't speak to benefits.
