Pros

Nice Offices - good reputation for now

Cons

The Addison Group has ruined this Company. The original partners are fleeing or are "checked out"as a result of being managed by the Addison Group since their buy out . The Direct Hire President in Texas is a royal blow hard and lies about everything. The CEO seems too cool for school (wanna be hipster). The turnover and inability to hire and train new talent is driving this business down, down, down! Their are big billers in but their willingness to help new people is a big fat zero. No training! No career advancement AT ALL!

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. We take feedback to heart and use it to improve when possible. With acquisitions, the transition period can create change but Addison Group makes it a priority to make the transition as seamless as possible. The acquisition of CVPartners by Addison Group was strategic in nature and we have been able to expand the scope of leadership roles. We are sorry to hear you felt you could not advance your career. Addison Group is focused on organic growth and each year we promote employees to open new lines of business and branches. Each employee under goes extensive training with our Learning and Development team. Again, we are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your time at CVPartners and wish you the best in your career.

Pros

If you've already wrapped your head around a 100% commission situation, CV partners is easily the agency to work for. The commission splits are higher than most, something like 10% across-the-board higher than Robert half. The salary ramp up period is six months. The six partners are so much fun and amazing mentors, each one of them. There is a full bar in the San Francisco office and frequent barbecues and lunch activities in the Mountain View office. The incentives trips are fun. Everyone who hit their goal in Q1 went to Chicago in Q2 this year. The people that join CVPartners are truly amazing people.

Cons

Recently, the company was acquired by Addison partners. So far, not much has changed except we're now paid weekly instead of bi-monthly, which is nice. However, it seems a lot of people are afraid about the long term and there has been a lot of turnover recently.
