Pros
I finally found a place to work where I genuinely look forward to walking into work in the morning. I get there early, not because I have to but because I want to. I leave late not because I have to but because I want to. I feel that my work matters and my position is respected. I have become completely immersed in the company and because it is growing so rapidly, it feels like I am making a difference and being involved at every turn. The company is family owned and operated and they make you feel like you are a part of that family. Plus, moving into a new building (formerly the Compuware building) that has been beautifully renovated makes coming to work even better! The company puts on internal career fairs to promote upward mobility within the company. Further, the company pays their employees generously, implementing a minimum wage of 17.00 per hour. There is an entire "culture" department committed to putting on fun events, after work sporting leagues, weekly happy hours paid for by the company, and promoting the "family values:" Passion, Vision, Integrity, and Quality.
Cons
Some employees who have proven to be incompetent and inefficient are given too many chances to change their way and could be terminated more readily and replaced with employees who embody passion, vision, integrity, and quality which are the company's keys to success.
